Terms of Use
Effective
These terms cover the Show & Tell product page and macOS app, made by SideQuest. By using either, you agree to them.
The license
Show & Tell is licensed, not sold. A license key is issued to a specific email address for that person's use. Do not share, publish, or resell license keys.
A paid license is a one-time purchase that lets you use the app forever and includes every update released during the 12 months after purchase. Versions covered by your license remain usable forever. Founder licenses issued before the paid launch remain perpetual and continue to include all future updates.
New installs include a seven-day trial. When the trial ends, capture features pause until a license is entered. Everything you already captured remains yours and accessible in the app.
Payments and refunds
Stripe processes payments in US dollars, with applicable tax calculated at checkout. For a payment, refund, or license-delivery problem, contact hello@madebysidequest.com. These terms do not limit refund or cancellation rights granted by applicable consumer law.
Early access
Show & Tell is in active development. Features may change and bugs may occur. Reports are welcome at hello@madebysidequest.com.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, checkout, license service, or update service, and do not share, publish, or resell license keys.
No warranty
The software and site are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SideQuest is not liable for damages arising from their use. Nothing here limits rights granted by consumer law that cannot be limited.
Changes
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
